Plains Near Auvers Vincent Van Gogh Print
Art Print: A stunning print of 'Plains near Auvers' by Dutch post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh. In 1890 the Dutch artist settled in the French village and produced around 70 oil paintings, including this great masterpiece. Of course, it was near this location and during this year in which Van Gogh met his untimely death. Some critics argue that he was producing his best work at this time and looking at this print it's hard to disagree. Here, Van Gogh painted something that counts amongst his brightest work. The green grass in the foreground and the yellow wheat fields in the distance are well distinguished against the strikingly blue sky and white clouds. This is a prime example of Monet's unique style and is a great print that will compliment a collection and brighten up any room in which it hangs.
