Children's Door Poster: Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, also known simply as Thomas and Friends, is a British children's television series which was first created and broadcasted in 1984. Some of the other main characters in the programme are Gordan, Percy, James and Diesel; who are all railway engines. Annie and Clarabel are the two carriages that are best known in the television series. The most popular vehicle that is not a train is Bertie the red bus.
