The Clone Wars is an animated TV series set during the war between the Galactic Republic under Chancellor Palpatine, and the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) lead by Count Dooku. Many of the characters from the films, including Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Mace Windu, Chancellor Palpatine, Count Dooku, General Grievous, C-3PO, R2-D2 and Padmé Amidala all feature as well as new characters such as Ahsoka.
