Animal Poster: Zebras are part of the horse family, and are native to Southern and Central Africa. They are most commonly known for their distinctive black and white stripes. These stripes help Zebra to hide camouflaged in areas of deadwood. There are several subspecies of the Zebra, however there is one extinct group of zebras, the Quagga; these were classified as extinct in 1883.
