Iconic Landscape Poster: Potala Palace is in Lhasa, Tibet. It was once the chief home for the Dalai Lama but since the 14th Dalai Lama fled to India after a failed uprising in 1959 it has been converted into a museum by the Chinese. The building consists of over 1000 rooms in 13 storeys rising 384 feet atop the Marpo Ri or Red Hill. This poster shows the palace at dusk with the sun setting in the hills beyond.
