Shooting Men on a Girder

Vintage Photography Poster: Renowned photographer Charles C. Ebbets bought his first camera when he was just eight years old, by charging the money to his mother's tab at the local drugstore. He went on to have over 300 images published nationally, the most famous being 'Lunchtime atop a Skyscraper' and 'Resting on a Girder'. The caption in this great poster reads, 'Charles C. Ebbets photographing the famous men on a girder image during the construction of the RKO building, 1932'.
