Marlene Dietrich Maxi Poster: Born 27th December 1901 Maria Magdalene Dietrich set out to become one of the most infamous actresses of her time. She was best known for wearing tuxedoes, men's hats, and men's tailored suits as well as her starring roles in at least 30 films between 1920 and 1970. Her role as Lola- Lola in The Blue Angel shot her to fame in 1930 and she was always considered a sex symbol and fashion icon of her time. Not only was she a star in the film industry, Dietrich had more over 50 albums under her belt at the end of her career and was well known for entertaining troops on the front line during World War Two.
