Seven Year Itch, Poster

Celebrity Poster: Released in November 1955, the film version of 'The Seven Year Itch' starring Marilyn Monroe remains hugely popular today and has become one of the most famous movies of all time. Featured in this wonderful poster is that most notorious scene where the gorgeous Marilyn Monroe's dress billows up as she stands over a Subway grate. Interestingly the footage for this scene had to be shot twice; the first shot was taken in Manhattan's Lexington Avenue but was useless as the excited crowd made too much noise!
