Music Poster: The Rasmus are a Finnish band. They formed in Helsinki in 1994 while still in high school. Before their album Into (in 2001), they changed their name from Rasmus to The Rasmus to avoid confusion with a Swedish DJ of the same name. Their 2003 hit In The Shadows garnered recognition outside Scandinavia and press attention from countries as diverse as the USA and Thailand to the UK and Australia.
