Beatles Midi Poster: "Let It Be" was the twelfth and final album recorded by the Beatles; and was released on May 8, 1970 by the band's own 'Apple Records' label. Most of "Let It Be" was recorded in January 1969, before the recording and release of the album "Abbey Road". However, the band was unhappy with the album and it was temporarily shelved. It was later re-produced by Phil Spector in 1970, and turned out to be The Beatles' final release.
