African Elephants

The African Bush Elephant is larger than the African Forest Elephant; however the two types of African elephant were classed as one specie in the past. The African Bush Elephant is the largest land dwelling mammal, and can weigh anything from 7 to 10 tonnes. Adult elephants aren't prone to attack, but their calves can be prey to lions, crocodiles and even a leopard or hyena.
