Lord of the Rings Movie Poster: A teaser poster for the Lord of the Rings trilogy, written and directed by Peter Jackon, and based upon the novel of the same name by J R R Tolkien. The three films; The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Two Towers (2002) and the Return of the King (2003) tell the story of Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), a Hobbit from Middle-Earth who must embark on a quest to destroy the One Ring and by doing so defeat the Dark Lord Sauron.
