Sean Connery stars in Dr. No

Film Poster: Dr. No was the first 007 James Bond film in the series, and the first to introduce Sean Connery as the secret spy, James Bond. Based on the 1958 novel by Ian Fleming, the film was adapted by Richard Maibaum, Johanna Harwood, and Berkeley Mather, and was finally directed by Terence Young. Dr. No is well known for being the first film to pioneer the movie sequence at the start of all James Bond films; the view down a gun barrel which follows the movement of the walking James Bond.
