Art Poster: Utagawa Hiroshige was born in 1797 and has also been referred to as Ando Hiroshige. He was a Japanese Ukiyo-e artist, and one of the last great artists in that tradition. His works are best known for their colour and composition. All of Hiroshige's prints were easily recognisable, and were very popular amongst his followers.
