Contemporary Art Poster: Peggy Garr, born in Philadelphia, is an award winning artist from the USA. She confesses her work is a 'celebration of colour' and she started out by selling her work on eBay. Her main interest is flowers and few are so simply defined as in this peaceful trio of painted poppies, one of her favourite flowers. Backed by three warm toned shades of orange, these poppy illustrations are plainly but emotively defined.
