Art Print: 'With the Eagle', by Paul Klee, like a throw back to the Romantic age, the large all seeing eye in the centre of the panel is reminiscent to the Golden Eye, on the frame of 'The Teschen Altar', by the Romantic artist Caspar David Friedrich; is the painting religious is it fitting with Klee, maybe, because the Eagle in ‘With the Eagle’ is perched above the eye like Jesus on the cross, in Friedrich's painting; again this ambiguity of Klee’s keeps us guessing, which is Klee’s endearment.
