Art Print: The painting ' The Lady of Shalott ' by English Pre-Raphaelite Artist John William Waterhouse is taken from the poem of the same name by Alfred Lord Tennyson in 1883, it tells of the Lady of Shalott living under an undisclosed curse, to only see the world through the reflection of a mirror; on seeing the handsome knight Lancelot she cannot resist and her fate is to sale downstream to Camelot ‘ singing her last song ‘ & dying before she gets there.
