Art Print: A nostalgic painting, with two young girls carrying lanterns, amongst a dense garden of flowers; by 19th Century American painter, John Sargent; the idea for 'Carnation, Lilly, Lilly, Rose' came to Sargent while sailing down the Thames, with friend Edwin Austin Abbey, where he gashed his head in a diving accident; the painting is completed while convalescing at 'Broadway' in the Cotswolds, England.
