Flag, 1954, Giant Print

Art Print: Born in 1930 at Augusta, Georgia, Jasper Johns grew up in South Carolina; In 1954 he painted his first flag picture and had his first one-man exhibition in 1958 at the Leo Castelli Gallery, New York; In 1988 Johns was awarded the Grand Prix at the Venice Biennale and even starred in the cartoon series The Simpsons as himself! The original painting was painted over a collage of news clippings and the example image shown above may contain a watermark not present on the actual print.
