Art Print: A Turn of the century glance through the olive trees of North Africa; the Turkish Cafe by German artist Auguste Macke was painted during a period when Macke like fellow artists: Franz Marc & Paul Klee was experimenting with colour, the trips these artists made to Northern Africa, i.e. Algeria & Tunisia enabled them to experience a different effect light had on subject matter; the finished paintings were both vibrant and intense.
