Mini Art Print: August Macke was born on January 3, 1887, and died on September 26, 1914. He was one of the leading members of the German Expressionist Art group called 'Der Blaue Reiter' - The Blue Rider. His artistic style was influenced by French Impressionism and Post-impressionism, which he experienced on a trip to Paris in 1907. His later pieces of work were also influenced by the Fauve art movement.
