Lou Gehrig

Art Print: Self taught artist Allen Friedlander is known for producing many pencil sketches of athletic legends. The one pictured here is of the New York Yankees player Lou Gehrig, who scored a whopping 493 home runs in his career. Nicknamed "The Iron Horse", Gehrig has been drawn softly in pencil, with immaculate shading and undeniable attention to detail. With baseball bat in hand, you can just imagine him swinging and warming up as he prepares to go out onto the field. A realistic portrait which would be appreciated by any baseball or Yankees fan.
