Art Print: The German-American painter Albert Bierstadt, was born in 1830 and was best known for his paintings of lush, sweeping landscapes in the western parts of America. Bierstadt was part of the Hudson River School, which, unlike traditional school, was more of an informal group for like minded painters. Here is where Bierstadt focused his talents on romantic, detailed paintings which showed a light sometimes called luminism. This particular painting 'In The Mountains' has a very soft focus to it which creates an exceptionally romantic feel as small waterfalls trickle down the sides of the mountains and the river calmly floats along above the bed. A beautiful print which will look lovely in your home and lend a wonderfully serene feel to your room.
