Art Print: Alain Jacquet is widely acknowledged as being a French representative of the American Pop Art movement. His work intends to demonstrate the necessity of “excessive realism” or super-realism in contemporary society. In this art print he, much like others he has done, he presents it ironically by using camouflaging techniques and screen-printing to distort the often explicit or graphic subject matter.
